Description
"Bird Bride" depicts a slender, upright figure that seems to hover between human and bird. Created using the mono-sgraffito technique, the figure emerges from fine lines, exposed layers, and softly flowing color fields. Shades of pink, gold, and blue run through the body like inner currents, lending the image a quiet, almost ceremonial dignity. The bird head does not appear alien, but naturally connected to the human form—as a symbol of transformation, an inner bond of instinct, protection, and gentleness. Small, delicate details in the lower section suggest companions or inner voices accompanying the transition. The portrait-oriented image reinforces the impression of rising and ascending, making "Bird Bride" a poetic figure representing belonging, transformation, and quiet strength.
