Background & Significance
Between 1974 and 1976, Ri Meuser repeatedly explored the world of the feminine, relationships, and the body. The mono-sgraffito technique allows for a spontaneous, direct line—the figures emerge as if writing down a thought. This work still clearly carries the handwritten quality of the time of its creation.
