Description
"Butterfly Lady" depicts an upright female figure who permeates the pictorial space with a sense of calm and mystery. Her gaze is frontal and gentle, almost timeless, while delicate lines, floral shapes, and bird-like beings unfold around her. Particularly striking is the golden accent of the raised hand, which acts as a luminous pulse and draws attention to the fragile connection between the figure and her surroundings. Butterfly and flower motifs seem to emerge from the movement of the hand, lending the work a poetic lightness. The mono-sgraffito technique creates a multi-layered surface in which shades of gray, blue, and earth tones merge with warm gold nuances.
