Description
"Mutterliebe" (Mother's Love) from the 1980s is a work that touches with its quiet intensity – a symbol of warmth, security, and the invisible bond between two souls. Prof. Ri Meuser von Eschmar created it in her characteristic mono sgraffito technique, a method she developed and refined herself over many years.
From a mist of gold, violet, and midnight blue, a figure emerges – a woman whose gentle gaze and delicate silhouette are enveloped in light. Her body seems to consist of layers of color and memory, traversed by fine engravings and metallic reflections. The child, barely visible, almost merges with her – not as a separate figure, but as part of her aura, as an expression of the unity that defines motherly love.
The surface is alive: gold particles glow, silver shimmers like breath on glass, and a delicate radiance arises from the depths of the darkness. Every angle reveals new facets – just as love shines differently in every moment.
