Description
"Royal Family" depicts a fairytale, almost sacral scene in which human and symbolic figures unite in a solemn community. At the center stands the crowned main figure, calm and dignified, flanked by other figures that appear as protective and accompanying entities. Angel-like beings seem to hover above the scene, while animals at the feet of the figures establish a connection to nature and instinct. The color palette of violet, gold, and warm earth tones gives the image a festive yet childlike, poetic atmosphere. The mono-sgraffito technique creates fragile lines and layers that lend the figures something timeless and archetypal. "Royal Family" is less a concrete representation of power than a symbol of cohesion, protection, and an inner order that arises from closeness and trust.
