Product Description
This work from 2006 displays powerful, abstract imagery caught between light and darkness. In the center of the image, a luminous form emerges from deep shades of violet, blue, and black. It is surrounded by warm nuances of gold and ocher that flow through the pictorial space like trails of light or veils of mist.
The composition appears almost like an apparition: a form emerges from the depths as if slowly taking shape from shadow and color. Through flowing layers of paint, textures, and spontaneous movements, a vivid surface is created that constantly reveals new details.
Typical of these works is an intuitive approach to paint, water, and structure. Lines, gradients, and pigments collide, creating an atmosphere that can evoke landscapes, energy, or a cosmic scene.
