Product Description
The Floating Queen (1985) is a work created using the mono-sgraffito technique, depicting a mysterious, almost fairytale-like scene. An elegant, regal figure appears to glide through the pictorial space, accompanied by fluid forms and suggested landscapes that seem to emerge from a dream.
The composition feels light and dynamic. Fine lines, transparent layers of color, and soft transitions make the figure appear almost weightless. Details such as the crown, robes, and small symbolic elements lend the work a poetic and enigmatic atmosphere.
Golden and warm yellow tones meet soft shades of gray, blue, and green. The characteristic sgraffito texture creates a vibrant surface where lines, colors, and textures merge with one another.
