The glowing fish

"The Luminous Fish" is a work that achieves great depth with astonishing simplicity. Against a powerful, monochrome red background, the silhouette of a fish emerges – not as a lifelike creature, but as a luminous figure, a form of energy.

Ri Meuser von Eschmar employs a radically reduced visual language here: instead of many layers and textures, she uses a clear, almost floating brushstroke. The fish appears to be carved out of the background, as if it were generating the very light that surrounds it.

The intense red carries the emotional tension of this work. It represents vitality, heartbeat, warmth – and at the same time, transformation. In this color, the fish acts as a symbol of renewal, of inner clarity, of those moments when one suddenly recognizes where one's path is leading.

The fine lines that grow like rays from the fish’s body recall wings or currents that carry it. This makes it more than just an animal: a creature that exists between water and air, between body and spirit.

The work possesses a meditative quality. It is calm yet full of movement, minimalist yet full of meaning. "The Luminous Fish" invites you to linger – until you feel the light it carries within itself.

A powerful, timeless symbolic image full of energy and quiet elegance.
